:X Again, apologises for combining the monthly favourites as both months were a super hectic month for me (both events & training) and I was sick throughout April. .___________." The longesssttt period to fall sick till date.
Let's zoom in for the items I'd ❤ for both March & Aprill shall we? :)
For the past 2 months, I have been using back my previous makeup and they never failed to make me to fall in ❤ all over again despite I keep buying new loves each month (opps!)... ;)
The Balm Down Boy Blush, S$30.90
I was super curious about The Balm cosmetics after watching from Michelle Phan, Promise Phan, Emily Noel YouTube channels and was wondering if it is available in SG. And thank God THEY ARE! The Balm products are available at Sasa outlets and do take a lookout if they are having any store wide promotion! :P I bought mine at 20% off! Woohoo!
L'Oreal Infalliable Eyeshadow in Hourglass Beige, Purple Obession, S$14.90 each
I was waiting since last year Nov when they are first introduced at US and there are many good reviews on these products as they are 'great dupe for Armani Eyes To Kill' eyeshadow. Actually, there's really not a big ho-ha to me as L'Oreal is the parent for Armani cosmetics and I won't be surprised if they formulation are 80-85% similar to the latter.
But to be honest, the formulation is definitely very unique - is like either moose texture or those loose pigment-that-are-semi-packed. There is a 'stopper' to prevent the shadow from dropping (see below) and nonetheless, great pigmentation and affordable price too!
Introductory offer: S$11.90 (UP $14.90) + do take note of any John Little weekend 20% store wide sale! ;) Who knows, you may get them at an even cheaper price!
LeFemme Pressed Eyeshadow in Beige Pink, US$7 (inclusive shipping)
For the price, it is considered VERY CHEAP and GREAT colour payoff. You will just need a tinyyy bit of product to cover the entire eyelids!
The colour is in frost finish and it reminded me of Chanel's ombre eyeshadow in their Spring 2012 collection. Only is this is a darker (warmer) shade than the latter.
Essence You Rock! Lip stain, S$5.90 (?)
Was browsing through some items at Watsons Parkway and I will never fail to stop by at Essence counter to check on their latest collection and was in LOVE with this pinkish lip stain!
It is neither too cool pink tone nor reddish. A very nice pink that just enhance the lip colour and quite long lasting. I'd tried it on and it last around 6hour (with some drinking of water/juices in between). Not bad!
LeFemme Eyeliner Pencil in Black Brown, US$4 (Inclusive shipping)
Certainly lives up to the black-brown colour and very easy to slide/glide onto your eyelids. Down side: If you have oily eyelids like me, it is necessary to put on some eye primer to prevent creasing. :(
DollyWink Pencil Eyeliner in Black, S$15.90
Definitely ONE OF THE BEST pencil eyeliner in the local market (both luxury & drugstore brands)! Creme texture that make it so easy to draw on and jet black colour payoff which last the whole day & night WITHOUT creasing! Awesome stuff!
MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study, S$35
:P As you can see, I'd used up quite abit and this act as a good base to enhance the eyeshadow colour which I will be applying later on. It is nudish-shimmer colour (gold reflects) and it serves as a good colour base for any matte colours later on.
Alternatively, you can consider Painterly as base if you are applying shimmer colours! :D
