✿◕ ‿ ◕✿ Received an EDM invitation from MAC saying their 'Cook MAC, Shop MAC' collection will be launching in Singapore this March!
You should see my s-excited face when I saw this message! LOL!
As always, I literally ZOOMED down to Tangs MAC on 1st day of March and was DISAPPOINTED to know that the collection was on PRIVATE LAUNCH AND BY INVITES ONLY.
MAC OH MAC SINGAPORE!
WHY YOU NO INVITE YOUR LOYAL MAC CUSTOMER HERE?!

4 DAYS LATER...
Again, I went down to Tangs Orchard with my girlfriend Fang to try my luck (and was thinking hard, 'They can't be having private launch for consect 4 days right?!)
AND TADAHHH!!! I managed to grab them before they were SOLD OUT!!! Feels #LikeABoss
Shop & Drop
Definitely the colours are one of the best quad collection so far (even though the light pink has failed to show up any colours on the camera -.-) as there are NO dupes found on MAC and other brands! Kudos for MAC for finally come up with a quad with NO dupes! =Þ
- Sugar Snack (Matte): I find this is the hardest colour to play with as it doesn't show up much on my yellow-tone skin. But the colour does show up abit upon using Primer.
- Hypnotizing (Frost): This colour is like a combination of silver + taupe + brown. Very unique. Abit similar to Chanel Fauve but this colour is more towards purple instead of plum (Chanel).
- Power Boosted (Veluxe Pearl): Very pigmented. Imagine darker version of MakeUp ForEver Eyeshadow in #92 + shimmer.
- Shop & Drop (Satin): Its a VERY dark bluish-purple colour with very fine Blue glitter (as shown).
Call Me Bubbles
- Call Me Bubbles (Satin): Light beige with shimmer. Good for highlight the brow bones and tear ducts!
- Fresh Daily (Frost): Golden-orange colour which reminded me of the lighter version MAC Rule eyeshadow. Good colour payoff.
- Full of Flavour (Matte): Pinkish-coral colour which is almost the same as MAC Free To Be. -.-"
- Brash (Veluxe Pearl): Bronzey-Orange colour with very fine Orange shimmer (as shown)
Amplified - Watch Me Simmer
Cremesheen - Innocence. Beware!

✿◕ ‿ ◕✿ As you can see, Watch Me Simmer doesn't seem to turn out too dramatic as seen on the product itself!
Overall conclusion: 1 of my favourite collections from MAC aside from the Naturally collection. Pretty good colour consistency and unique colours (e.g. Shop & Drop, Hypnotizing). Of course these are not the entire items from the collection. You may wish to try out the colours yourself at any MAC counters at TANGS Vivo/Orchard. Sold out? Fret NOT! The other MAC stores will launch these products on 12th March onwards!!! MARK ON YOUR CALENDARS DARLINGS~!!
#Tip I always advice to my friends: Try any lip colour ON YOUR LIPS yourselves! The colour swatched on your hands WILL NOT reflect on your lips as your hand colour does not have the redness similar to your lips!!! Get any BA to sanctizied the lipstick FIRST before applying onto your lips!
